At Anjum, the safety of our guests is the top priority. The new guidelines for hotel cleanliness entitled “HEATLHY & SAFE STAY” ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees. With these guidelines in place, our hotel welcome you with a clean and safe environment, as “the new normal”
QUALITY STANDARDS
We at Anjum Hotel are committed to providing the finest services to our guests. For your convenience and comfort, we take quality standards as our top priority.
- All departments at Anjum Hotel Makkah operate under the umbrella of a quality control system that is compatible with the standard requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
- We are continuously improving our quality management system that is compatible with national and international statutory and regulatory requirements, and that is in line with guests' needs which exceed their expectations.
- We are cooperating with major companies and educational institutions of quality & food safety and hygiene to provide the latest training programs needed to improve and develop our staffs' skill sets, and to introduce them to the quality system as an Islamic principle and an internationally developed system.
- Our Quality and Control department was appointed to lead and enforce the new COVID-19 protocols, and make sure we stay up to date on the latest guidance concerning the health and safety of our guests and employees.
- We have implemented the international standards of food safety management, such as the ISO 22000:2018, and HACCP.
- Anjum Hotel Makkah is certified by BeruVirtas and Cristal Check Safety First and was accredited as the best hotel in food safety in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Makkah region for three years in a row, and third medal for best hotel food safety in the Middle East.
- We are continuously reporting any suspicious cases or applying necessary actions in compliance with the Saudi government instructions in response to the current COVID-19 situation.
- Cleanliness and sanitation are our top priority at Anjum Hotel Makkah; we have partnered with the leading companies in the Middle East such as, GBAC, Reza Hygiene, Ecolab and others that are specialized in infection prevention and hygiene advanced technology and services.
PUBLIC AREAS
- Sanitizer dispensers are available and easily accessed all around Anjum hotel, high visibility as well as high traffic areas inclusive all the public spaces.
- Increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting public areas including lobbies, prayer rooms, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms among others.
- Face masks are required for guests and employees within the hotel property. Making sure that the standard face masks are worn in the correct and safest way.
- All guests are asked to complete health check forms and undergo a temperature check upon entering Anjum Hotel. We ask for your kind cooperation to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
- Maintained the social distance regulations, signs, and guidance with a minimum of 1.5 meters apart in addition, avoiding crowded areas.
- There will be a maximum capacity of guests in all areas inside and outside of the hotel.
GUEST ROOMS
- Additional cleaning processes for daily housekeeping service during the stay and after departure, and improved protocols around handling guest items and laundry.
- All rooms are fully sanitized / room disinfected prior our guest’s arrival and sealed with the associate tag to ensure that guests are accessing sanitized rooms and suites.
- The furniture, doors and door knobs, windows, bathroom, lighting switches and any high-touch points are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Use of disinfectants for sanitization of high-touch points is thoroughly implemented. (TV remote control, telephone, tablet, hairdryer, hangers, etc.)
RESTAURANTS
- Before accessing the restaurants, guests are asked to undergo a temperature check.
- Social distancing is maintained at the restaurant and ensure our staffs are taking care of the new norms.
- Continuously reviewing food and beverage service in accordance with official recommendations. Anjum Hotel Makkah new standards and service approaches to buffets, banquets, room service and catering are implemented. While food and beverage options may vary at this time, we are committed to protecting our guests and employees.
- Strict delivery measures enhanced training protocols, food handling standards and sanitation guidelines, and a new service approach at Anjum restaurants. We are more out-of-the-ordinary private dining and destination options, improved in-room dining and less capacity at our restaurants - all appropriately spread out to avoid crowding.
- All kitchen staff follows strict food preparation and cooking hygiene standards and wear masks, gloves and hats to enhance food safety.
- All equipment used for room service is frequently sanitized. Food and drinks are served with a cover or lid. Also, to reduce close contact, food will be delivered outside the guest room.
OUR GUESTS HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Follow the precaution procedures at all times for the safety of everyone:
- Wear the face mask properly and make sure to dispose the used mask in the designated disposals to avoid any contamination.
- Wash your hand with soap properly without forgetting the use hand sanitizer frequently and immediately after touching any surfaces.
- Avoid touching surfaces as much as possible and minimize touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze; then dispose of the used tissue immediately and wash or sanitize your hands.
- Use the sanitized personal praying mat provided in each room inside and outside Anjum Hotel. Don’t share your praying mat with anyone under any circumstance.
- When praying at our mosque, follow the signage and social distance provided at the mosque.
- Please avoid using any chairs containing a “DO NOT SIT” sign or relocating any chairs from its original location.
- Keep up to date on the latest information provided by Anjum Hotel Makkah and local authorities.
- Immediately report any symptoms such as fever, cough or difficulty breathing even if its minor which will help you and everyone else.
- Please always follow all procedures properly and report anyone who is not, to help us achieve ahealthy safe environment.
- Any violation of the above procedures will be reported to the authorities and will be responsible of the consequences.
