July 4, 2020
Anjum Hotel Makkah has embarked on a new era of hospitality with the extensive refurbishment to the five-star property, inspired by the new standards and regulations of the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Tourism.
The renovation project wraps-up a year-long renovation that started in the 10th of Shawwal, 1440 and was completed in different stages over the course of 12 months and has covered redesigned 1715 rooms and suites, further facilities in the guests’ rooms dedicated for people with special needs and elegantly-enhanced hotel public areas.
The renovation project was being led by world-renowned interior designers and architects. Guests rooms and suites will embrace the latest technology and comfort, while paying homage to the hospitality of the Hijazi culture famous in Makkah.
General Manager of Engineering and Facilities Ahmed Fadul Karim believes the renovations will reinforce the Hotel’s position as an unmatched property of Makkah hospitality. “I’m tremendously excited about the opportunities this renovation gives Anjum Hotel Makkah. It will enable us to progress at a time when the city itself is moving forward at such an incredible pace. We’ve listened to the Ministry of Tourism requests and to what our guests want and have incorporated their feedback with the hotel refurbishment. We’re very happy to see Anjum evolving, while retaining its core identity.”
The recently renovated Anjum Hotel Makkah reflects all that is best in the heart of the Holy City of Makkah. Just steps from the Holy Haram, pilgrims’ travelers can experience true spirituality paired with Andalusian comfort.
